How we vet the carriers that move your vehicle
Auto transport has a reputation problem: bait pricing, disappearing dispatchers and loads resold to whoever is cheapest. These are the specific controls we run so that does not happen to your vehicle.
Broker status disclosure
TankWorldWide is a booking agent, not a motor carrier and not a licensed property broker. Shipments are arranged under the authority of a licensed broker of record; our authority partner is being finalised and bookings are not being accepted yet. TankWorldWide does not own trucks, employ drivers, or take custody of your vehicle or equipment.

Authority & insurance verification
Every carrier submits MC/USDOT numbers and a certificate of insurance with cargo and liability limits. We store the expiry date and automatically suspend lead access the day coverage lapses — no manual chasing, no expired-COI carriers slipping through.
Anti-double-brokering controls
The carrier that accepted your load is the carrier that must sign the bill of lading. Signatures are tied to the verified account, so a load quietly re-sold to an unvetted truck is flagged instead of hidden.
Photo-documented condition
Timestamped pickup and delivery photos attach to the shipment record, alongside a digital BOL signed by both sides. If something is disputed, there is evidence rather than argument.
Performance, not marketing claims
Carrier ratings come from completed shipments only — on-time percentage, claims rate and cancellations. Reviews can only be left by a customer whose shipment was actually delivered.
No spam-call lead blast
Your contact details go to a small number of matched, verified carriers — not to a dozen call centers. That is the single biggest complaint about traditional vehicle transport lead sites, and it is a design choice here.
Claims handled on a clock
Damage claims are filed in-app with photos and the signed BOL, reviewed against that evidence, and resolved with a written decision. Carriers with unresolved claims lose trust badges.
Red flags in any vehicle and equipment shipping quote
- A quote far below every other bid — it is a placeholder that gets re-priced after your deposit.
- A company that will not give an MC number, or whose authority is not active in the FMCSA database.
- Pressure to pay a large deposit by wire, Zelle or crypto.
- No written bill of lading at pickup, or blank condition boxes.
- A dispatcher who refuses to name the actual trucking company hauling your vehicle.
